Gardening Intern

Roll up your sleeves and help bring our gardens to life. As a Gardening Intern, you’ll dig, plant, weed, water, and harvest in our vegetable beds and flower rows—learning as you grow. We’ll teach you the basics of organic, sustainable gardening while you get your hands dirty in the best way. Whether you're prepping beds for tomatoes or cutting wildflowers for the Farmstand, your work helps feed our community and keep the farm blooming. No experience necessary—just a good attitude and a love for being outside.

Landscaping

If working outdoors with the hum of bees and the smell of fresh mulch sounds like your kind of day, this one’s for you. As a landscaping volunteer, you’ll help us shape and care for the land—mowing fields, spreading mulch, trimming back overgrowth, clearing trails, and helping with seasonal projects that keep the farm looking its best. This is honest, physical work that makes a real impact and gives you a front-row seat to the changing seasons.

Farm Animal Care

Step into the daily rhythm of farm life by helping care for our animals. Volunteers in this role support daily feeding and watering routines, clean stalls and coops, and provide enrichment activities to keep our animals happy and healthy. From goats and chickens to barn cats and more, you’ll get to know our animals up close while learning the basics of animal husbandry and ethical care. Ideal for animal lovers who aren’t afraid to get a little messy and are excited to build a deeper relationship with the creatures that call Sweet Honey Farm home.
